Latitude 28 is a modern looking café and bar located at Point Danger, on the border of QLD and NSW (between Coolangatta and Tweed Heads). It sits just across from the cliff top lookout, which offers fabulous views up to Surfers Paradise.
The day we visited Point Danger was overcast, and after a little while spent enjoying the view it began to rain. This seemed like the perfect excuse for some morning tea, so we dashed across the road to Latitude 28 and managed to nab a table inside out of the rain.
Service was very slow and although we weren't in a huge hurry, we were not impressed that people arriving later than us were served first. Oh well, after my Dad complained we were seen to promptly ; )
We all had a coffee, which wasn't bad actually, and just a small sweet treat to tide us over till lunch - a cookie and a friand to share.
