Mermaids is a café, bar and restaurant located right on the beachside in Burleigh Heads, on the Gold Coast. It is a relaxed but stylish looking place, serving up modern cuisine in a beautiful setting.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can pop in any time of the day for a coffee, a drink or something more substantial. Have lunch or dinner on the terrace overlooking the ocean for something a little special.

We popped into Mermaids mid-morning for a coffee and to catch up with family. We chose to sit in the small shaded outside area to the side. This is actually the perfect place to sit if you have kids as they can play in the sand right by the café and you can watch them whilst still enjoying a sand-free coffee.

Service was friendly and the coffee was entirely drinkable. We also ordered some Hot Cross Buns and a delicious Choc Hazelnut muffin to accompany our drinks.
