If you are into Vietnamese food then you have to head to Cabramatta, in Western Sydney, which is like a small slice of Vietnam. It is a vibrant place, filled with markets, small shops and arcades selling Vietnamese produce and dishing up delicious delicacies.

My sister is a bit of an expert on the area, and one day she took me on a guided tour. We trawled the shops, tasting as we went and buying some raw ingredients so she could cook up a big feast that night.

One of the places we bought food from was Pho 54, which specialises in big bowls of noodle & meat filled soup. We skipped the soup on this occasion and instead ordered some Summer Rolls, which are large, soft spring rolls with prawns and vegetables. They were very tasty, especially when dipped in the spicy sauce that accompanied them. The restaurant was so busy (at 11am) that we had them to take away and sat in the sun to enjoy this Vietnamese treat.
