I took my wife to Berowra Waters Inn for her 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. The restaurant manager Tarmara made us feel welcome from the start, the food was amazing (lots of small courses so you get to try a lot of different things) and the service friendly, informative and not too 'in your face'!

We went in the evening when it was dark as we we're staying in a nearby B&B so could enjoy the water-ways the next day but I'd recommend going for lunch if you can't do an overnight stay (it's worth staying overnight on one of the accommodations along the river if you can) as the view from the restaurant is spectacular.
