Westminster, a tourist hotspot at the heart of London, is a sight to behold. Running along the North Bank of the Thames its breathtaking Palace or as it is more widely recognised, the Houses of Parliament, is arguably the most beautiful vision that London has to offer. The famous Clock Tower which houses Big Ben stands by its side whilst the finest in gothic architecture is on display at Westminster Abbey. Beyond Parliament Square, Westminster's atmosphere is a touch more quiet and isolated, but there is a good selection of restaurants and bars for those surrendering after a long day of sightseeing. The Cinnamon Club is excellent for those wanting to try Indian with a modern twist but be warned, prices around here are not always the cheapest. And with the rest of central London easily accessible, entertainment is something which never proves a problem.
