Finchley Road, stretching between St Johns Wood and Golders Green, is home to the O2- a lively entertainment centre- filled with a selection of favourite chain eateries and shops. Restaurants here do tend to be predominately of the Asian variety; Green Cottage Chinese being a particularly good choice but if something more Mediterranean is for you then try out the family run Hellenic. Although places for a night out are sparse, one cannot go without visiting Ye Olde Swiss Cottage pub which legend suggests was the original inspiration for the areas name.
