Blasts from the past are evident at every corner, be it the idyllic scenery of Waterlow Park, the cobbled narrow streets of the Village or the Wrestlers Pub complete with log fires and a relaxing atmosphere. Green space is in abundance through the dense forest of Queenswood or the more family friendly Highgate Woods. Its cemetery, burial place of Karl Marx is famed for incredible Victorian designs. On Archway Road is the fashionable Boogaloo bar whose music has people flocking from miles around whilst Italian is the main flavour restaurant wise, with Papa Dels offering an interestingly intimate dining experience.
