Fitzrovia, however, makes a valiant effort mixing traditional with fresh and new. Its artistic roots are maintained through the various buildings associated with the fashion and media industries whilst Georgian Fitzroy Square is the only one of its type in Central London. The BT tower, one of Londons tallest buildings can also be found here. Charlotte Street is recommended for its restaurants and the area itself is becoming more popular with well to do city workers. Not too commercialised, it keeps a balance between pubs and bars, combining chilled and cosy with a hint of eccentric offered by Scandinavian themed Nordic. It might not be big but its certainty diverse. And theres even a toy museum.
