Very popular with the expense account posse, this Conran eatery boasts a hard-hitting, short French menu, with a wine-list to match, though the latter is slightly more extensive (with sommeliers on hand to offer useful advice). The decor is modern and stylish, and it is possible to eat on the terrace, weather permitting. Views are spectacular. Despite upper-end pricing, Coq d'Argent is very popular, so book well in advance. Terrace seating is available.

Located in the heart of the City, Parker Mcmillan will be a stylishly designed refuge from the towering offices and hustle and bustle that surround it. Entering via the traditional street facade the space has been transformed into a cool clean urban interior with four comfortable lounge spaces at upper levels each leading down to a series of interlinked bar areas. The Victorian brick vaults break the otherwise vast space into a series of smaller, more intimate rooms.
