Quick shout on Guildford
I like Guildford. A lot. I'm not going to lie, I've lived here since I was five (except for some time living abroad and being away for university). So read into my comments what you will.The town is affluent on the whole, there is a lot of history and it is a generally safe place.
There are a number of independent restaurants but I'm beginning to find that there are too many chain restaurants.
