Happy birthday Garden Organic! The pioneering charity is celebrating 50 years of organic growing with a revamp of its rose garden at the Ryton demonstration gardens in Warwickshire and continues to offer fantastic courses on subjects like starting your own organic allotment, planning your vegetable garden and storing your harvest.
Inspired? The display gardens in Ryton, Yalding and Audley End are open for visitors and sound like a wonderful way of seeing what’s possible, and as the charity’s Royal patron Prince Charles said recently growing your own “doesn’t need an acre of garden, because a window-box is a very good start!”.
