Check Out Chiswick

“Local Intelligence For Intelligent Locals” says the slogan, and community site ChiswickW4.com lives up to it. Run by a local company, it’s packed with well written articles about this attractive area of West London and offers a lively forum to boot.
Chiswick celebrated St George’s Day in style this year. Capital Radio’s Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen broadcast a special breakfast show from The George VI pub and at lunchtime celebrity chef Anthony Worral Thompson cooked up a storm, creating some quintissentially British dishes such as roast beef sandwich and Eton Mess, while on the forum the latest topics include Ken Livingstone, a shout out for male singers to join a jazz ensemble called the Addison Group and a post about a pub called the Duke of Sussex that would make a great Trusted Places review!
We love stumbling across sites like ChiswickW4.com. They’re a welcome reminder that the sad trend of neighbours never speaking to each other isn’t true everywhere, and community’s what we’re all about here at Trusted Places.
You can read more reviews of top places in Chiswick here, including opinions on French fine dining at La Trompette, neeps and pigs cheeks at Gordon Ramsay gastropub The Devonshire and a good old BYO booze policy at Thai restaurant Turnham Green Cafe - but remember to write some too!
