Trusted Place: Londonelicious
Time for a little spring cleaning on the blog now that it’s almost April. First thing to dust off is the blog roll. I’ve been a little lax in keeping on top of all the great sites out there that give us a smile at the TrustedPaces office so let’s start a new regular look at what’s out there besides us
First up is Londonelicious which features one of our favourite tag lines:
Krista has been writing Londonelicious since June 2004 which in blogging terms is a good long while. Blogging is easy to pick up, but can be difficult to maintain unless you a) have a passion for writing and b) are passionate about what you’re writing about. Londonelicious is a constantly fun read thanks to Krista’s witty observations about the places she goes coupled with little insights into her own life. For example, this preamble to her review of Freebird in Exmouth Market:
The stand is quiet when I get there. I’m the only one there. Then I recognize the two owner dudes from my night at Mucho Mas and try to drum up a conversation. I remind the one guy that I met him at Mucho Mas. I don’t think he remembered me. I think he just thought I was a crazy American who was really excited to have a burrito for lunch.
She also reminded us about the opening of the Coffee@ at Whitecross. You’ll remember that we interviewed the founder of Coffee@ a little while ago and this was one store opening he was particularly excited about as it’s completely organic from the paint on the walls to the solar powered water, bamboo bar and rainwater powered loo!
If you have a favourite blog that we should be looking at (or know of a new place opening) do drop us a line ![]()
