Snap Of The Week # 1

We were going to kick things off with a photograph of something beautiful, but we were strangely drawn to this creation found on Brick Lane Market last month.

What is it? Are all those eggs strictly necessary? Has anyone out there ever eaten one? It really does look like something that David Tennant should be pointing his sonic screwdriver at…

It was only after we started writing this post that we noticed the photo was taken by none other than Cory Doctorow of Boing Boing fame. Coincidently, Cory has recently been showing off some of his favourite travel snaps over on BB so lots more London weirdness to come…

And while we’re on Boing Boing check out this spy cam enabled coffee machine.

We’re going to be picking some of our favourite Flickr photos each week to add a little bit of colour to the blog. If you snap something particularly interesting do let us know or simply tag it in Flickr with trustedplaces.

PS We’re bringing the content from our other blog over here so no need to jump between the two anymore!
