Viva Brazil!

For those of you who missed it, we had a great night at The Codben Club last Saturday. For those of you that made it down to Westbourne Park, thank you – you made the night one to remember.

Apologies for the late blog entry, but video editing ain’t what it used to be. All that new technology is really slowing things down. The old days of cutting up film and sticking it together was the way to do it ;-)

So about the party. What a party! The churasco dinner was really, really good. Succulent beef fillet, juicy sirloin steak, some tasty chicken and sausages and (not typical of Brazil, but typical of Cobden) some amazing chocolate tart and flan to top it all off. We were lucky enough to have a star cast of Mez, Buraco, Amoneg, the newly joined Neillzero,MatthewCashmore, who’s getting ready to bike to Russia and of course Reynolds turning up. Apologies to everyone else I’m not mentioning here, but we did have about 150 of you turning up.

After the dinner we headed up to the second floor of the Codben for some exclusive partying TrustedPlaces, Brazilian style. Great music, some very tasty cocktails, but the highlight was the London School of Samba. Some proper booty shaking, drumming that you could hear from the bus stop across the street and the whole crowd dancing along. It really got everyone going and kept us going until about 2am when they had to kick us out.

We took a few short clips of some of you during the party and a bunch of photos too. Check the video below and the pics here. Can’t wait for the next one and of course would love to see you there.
