We’re still Alive and Kicking!
Apologies to all our Blog readers for having starved you of any blog entries recently. We’ve been incredibly busy since our last blog entry on the 22nd of September. Alright, lets start with some facts. On the 22nd of September we had 173 registered users, today we have 586 users. On the 22nd of September we had 247 places reviewed now we have 512 places. This is a great success especially when you consider that this has been done solely via word of mouth… no advertising or campaigns were launched!
TrustedPlaces was also mentioned in the Press:
- “…I do think TrustedPlaces’ simplicity is a big improvement over the badly designed restaurant and cafe guides that dominate the market at the moment” according to Mashable
- “TrustedPlaces is a rewarding experience” according to TechCrunch UK
- We were also mentioned in the Guardian and in The Times:
We are very proud of how far TrustedPlaces has gone and we’re very excited to see what the future holds . We’d like to thank all of our members for all of their support, feedback, enthusiasm and great reviews. Last Friday we had the chance to thank them and meet over a hundred of our members at our public launch party at Parker McMillan. You can see pictures of the party and of the “Shakespearean” show that Flagship Productions prepared for us here.
Once again apologies for not keeping this blog as refreshed as possible but as you can see, TrustedPlaces is alive and kicking!

hey guys congratulations on your progress - you should try and keep the blog going though as it’s so important to building community - look at the Yelp blog for example. Maybe you could have announced the party on the blog … it wouldnt have taken long?
anyway you’ve built a great site and best of luck with it
